Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Day – Airport pickup and transfer to Bogor

  • Arrive at Jakarta Airport, where you will be picked up by private transport
  • Rest from your flight and relax at a hotel near the Bogor Botanical Gardens
  • Optional: If arriving early, a short tour of Jakarta is possible
Day 2

Bogor to Rachman's Homestay

  • After breakfast, enjoy a city tour including a Wayang Golek puppet workshop
  • Visit a traditional market and take a guided walk through the beautiful Bogor Botanical Gardens
  • Then we continue towards Salak National Park to Rachman's Homestay
  • Upon arrival, relax or join a recommended Indonesian cooking class
Day 3

Explore Salak National Park

  • After breakfast, visit waterfalls and scenic viewpoints
  • Jungle nature walk
  • For the adventurous: hike to the Queen's Crater
Day 4

Continue from Salak National Park to Pelabuhan Ratu

  • Visit the traditional fish market followed by a beautiful village walk
  • Stay at the scenic Queen Resort
  • Relax, swim
Day 5

From Pelabuhan Ratu to Ujung Genteng via Geopark and Ciletuh Waterfall

  • Visit the Geopark and the Ciletuh Waterfall
  • Explore Ujung Genteng Beach
  • Stay at a beachfront resort
  • Nighttime turtle nesting observation on the beach (July to September)
Day 6

Explore the Ujung Genteng Area

  • Take a boat ride along the Cikaso River with opportunities for swimming
  • Visit the Cikaso Waterfall
  • Nighttime turtle nesting observation on the beach if not seen the previous day (July to September)
Day 7

Continue the journey from Ujung Genteng to Bandung via Ciwidey

  • Visit the Rengganis suspension bridge
  • Visit Kawah Putih (White Crater)
  • Stay at a hotel in lively Bandung
Day 8

Train journey from Bandung to Wonosobo/Kutoarjo

  • Take the train from Bandung to Kutoarjo
  • You’ll be picked up by a private driver and taken to the hotel
Day 9

Continue the journey from Wonosobo to Magelang

  • Visit Telaga Warna and the Gatotkaca Temple
  • Stay at a hotel in Magelang – use the time to relax after all the activities
Day 10

Magelang to Yogyakarta

  • Visit the Borobudur Temple
  • Bicycle ride with gamelan music experience
  • Visit the active volcano near Yogyakarta – Mount Merapi by Jeep
  • Stay in a hotel in vibrant Yogyakarta
Day 11

Yogyakarta

  • Visit the Prambanan Temple
  • Visit the Sultan’s Palace (Kraton)
  • Coffee tasting
  • Take a Batik Seno painting workshop
Day 12

Yogyakarta to Final Destination

  • Travel from Yogyakarta to your final destination – either back to Bandung or to the airport for Bali, Lombok, etc.
